Coach organizations of various sizes use both options. Here’s how we generally break it down: coach organizations with a high volume of low-touch athletes (i.e. athletes who may not need premium features) should consider the Unlimited subscription. But if you work mostly 1:1 with athletes who could benefit from premium features, you can get a lower base fee and essentially pay as you grow with a Basic subscription. Especially with our volume discounts, you get the most functionality per dollar by starting with a Basic subscription and getting your athletes on premium as you add them.

Both Basic and Unlimited coach accounts can get the best features for their athletes by upgrading them to premium—and the pricing to do so is the same regardless of which coach subscription you have.

Yes! With a basic coach account, you can add as many premium athletes as you like, starting at $9/athlete/month. See “What does Premium Cost” for a breakdown of savings as you add more athletes.

• Weather: the athlete and coach can see local weather up to seven days in the future, making it easy to schedule the best workout for the day—even remotely.
• Availability: Skip the tedious emails and workout reschedules—premium athletes can show you when they’re available and how they can train, right in the app.
• Advanced Analytics: Premium athletes see the same data you do, so they can see their progress and stay motivated.
• Peak Performances: Whenever your athlete sets a new personal best, they get rewarded in the app, and you get a notification (high-fives may be in order).
• Enhanced Notifications: These include daily emails with full workout details; perfect for busy athletes who don’t always have time to log in. As a coach, you’ll also get email notifications when your premium athletes finish their workouts, helping you stay on top of feedback!
• Access to Beta Features: we’re always working to release new features, and premium athletes get early access with the option to give us feedback.

When you (the coach) pay for premium for your athletes, you’ll unlock deeper discounts the more athletes you add. Most coaches factor the cost of premium into their athletes’ monthly fees, which provides the best value for the athlete and coach. (Athletes pay between $9.92 and $20/month for premium depending on their billing cadence).
